In addition to the Hammer big bore, there’s several more new Umarex air rifles to be introduced at the 2018 SHOT Show next week. These include a new version of the Ruger Yukon Magnum, shown above.
Among these new air rifles are. Drum roll, please…
Umarex Gauntlet in .25 Caliber
Maintaining momentum in the smallbore Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) category, Umarex USA introduces the latest in the Umarex Gauntlet line—the .25 Caliber Gauntlet. Like the .177 and .22, the .25 caliber Gauntlet will retail at $299.99.
Not only is it affordable, says the company, it hosts the same features as its smaller caliber counterparts, the most important being a consistent shot string.
The .25 caliber Gauntlet delivers 25 rounds from one full fill of its 3,000 psi tank and operates with a constant regulated pressure of 1,900 PSI. The Gauntlet is a multi-shot bolt action that comes with one 8-shot magazine. It uses a removable regulated HPA tank with a quick disconnect Foster connection for easy fills and comes with a pressure release key. Its comb is adjustable and it is fully moderated making it extremely quiet.
The .25 caliber Gauntlet produces 47 Ft/Lbs of Muzzle Energy with a 25-grain pellet.
But wait, there’s more new Umarex air rifles!
Umarex Syrix
In small-game rifles, Umarex introduces the Syrix. A single-shot, break barrel pellet rifle. It has an attractive, well-built all-weather stock, fiber optic sights, a uniquely shaped butt pad, comes bundled with a 4×32 scope and is powered by the consistent Umarex TNT piston.
All these features retail for an affordable $99.99. Umarex says this makes it a great adult air rifle for those new to air rifles.
Ruger Yukon Magnum
The popular Ruger Yukon hunting air rifle is getting an upgrade.
The Ruger Yukon Magnum is powered by the ReAxis gas piston and quieted by the SilencAir noise dampener. It features a Picatinny Lockdown all metal mounting rail and is bundled with a 3-9×32 scope.
Umarex tells us that the new Ruger Yukon Magnum achieves up to 1,150 FPS in .177 caliber with a 7.0 grain lead pellet. The .22 has a maximum Muzzle velocity of 950 FPS, generating 22 Ft/Lbs of energy. The company says this makes it ideal for small game. The new Ruger Yukon Magnum air rifle retails for $259.99 and is available now.
Legends Cowboy Rifle
Lever action lovers are sure to like the Legends Cowboy Rifle. Umarex says that this is a 410 FPS BB rifle that comes with 10 ejectable BB cartridges. Load each cartridge with a single BB, insert all 10 into the rifle and shoot your targets. It ejects the “spent” cartridge with each operation of the lever!
This CO2 powered air rifle has a smooth bore blued barrel and receiver and is crafted with a realistic classic straight wood-look stock. This lever action rifle is equipped with an adjustable rear sight and is powered by two 12 gram CO2 cartridges that insert in the rear of stock by removing the recoil pad. MSRP is $219.99.
Last, but not least, of the new Umarex air rifles to be launched at the 2018 SHOT Show is the Walther Classus.
This is a new air rifle that is made in Germany. The adjustable rear sight, classic front post and sleek ambidextrous cheekpiece are said to make aiming a breeze even without using a scope. This air gun includes an 11mm dovetail rail so you can add any optic that meets your shooting sports’ needs.
With an adjustable match trigger, rubber recoil pad, and automatic safety, Umarex says that the Walther Classus is a quality airgun that will provide generations of small game hunting and target shooting enjoyment. It’s powered by a smooth, single-stroke spring piston break barrel mechanism. The Walther Classus is a modern classic built with German craftsmanship and retails for $319.99.
