AEAC’s Steve Scialli has just posted his video review of the Diana Stormrider PCP air rifle.
Steve’s test rifle was in .22 caliber, while HAM reviewed the Stormrider in .177 caliber a couple of months ago. The HAM gun was a pre-production model, the AEAC gun was a regular production example. It’s interesting to compare the two reviews!
Both reviews like the finish and the magazine feed, although Steve’s gun seems to have a less smooth feed capability than the one HAM tested. Both reviewers also chose to test the Diana Stormrider PCP air rifle using a compact Leapers UTG Bugbuster scope, due to the constraints on scope mounting with this gun.
We both liked the light weight and small size, too.
And both reviewers were concerned about the point-of-impact wandering over time due to that long, unsupported barrel design. It’s clear that the Stormrider needs to be treated carefully if accuracy is to be preserved. Though it has many other virtues, this is unlikely to be a “rough use” gun.
So read the HAM review and check out the video review below…
