One early new product airgun announcement for the 2025 SHOT Show is the new AirForce Tex-Rex big bore PCP air rifle. It’s designed for hunting and long range shooting.
The Tex-Rex is the latest evolution in the long-running Texan line. AirForce says that it delivers unprecedented power and performance. Initially available in .510 caliber, it is capable of generating over 1,100 Ft/Lbs of Muzzle Energy and velocities reaching over 1,250 FPS.
With this level of performance, the company says that the Tex-Rex claims the title of most powerful American-made production air rifle.
The AirForce Tex-Rex includes a 34-inch Lothar Walther barrel, ensuring accuracy for long-distance shooting and big game hunting.
Its lightweight yet durable design incorporates a new 310 BAR 500cc carbon fiber air tank, providing 4–5 consistent shots at over 730 Ft/Lbs of Muzzle Energy with 385 Grain slugs before requiring a refill.

• Unmatched Power: Over 1,100 FPE with heavy 620 grain slugs for hunting large game at shorter ranges with confidence.
• Enhanced Control: A new forearm grip adds stability and includes M-Lok slots for attaching accessories.

With a total weight of just 8 pounds and a sleek 54.25-inch profile, the Tex-Rex is both a powerful and light-weight hunting rifle. It is equipped with a 4,500 PSI carbon fiber air tank and supports open or optical sights on its 11mm dovetail rail.
