Airguns of Arizona has announced a new Omega HP3 Valve for HPA tanks. It’s available both with and without hose and fittings.
Strictly speaking, the HP3 valve has been available for some time, but only in “stealth mode”. If you knew to ask, it’s been available for sale through telephone orders at AoA. But now it’s available to order on the website.
The Omega HP3 valve is being positioned as a premium solution for PCP airgun owners. In fact, “HP3” stands for “High Pressure, High Performance, and High Precision”, says AoA.
The HP3 valve fits 7/8-Inch UNF air cylinders and is rated for 4500 PSI use. It features a large top wheel that allows the user control over the the precise pressure when filling an airgun.
The knurled brass bleed valve releases pressure for disconnecting.
There’s two gauges. The larger oil-filled main gauge gives an accurate read on the air being transferred.
The second, smaller gauge provides an indication of the HPA pressure in the tank pressure. Sure, this can be achieved by using a “dead head”, but this dual gauge solution is far more elegant and gives a continuous read.
The valve is fitted with a standard male nipple, used for filling the cylinder as well as being a quick disconnect for a hose when transferring air through to the airgun.
The Omega HP3 valve is also available in a kit. This includes a 1-Meter long “zero kink” hose, together with two “long grip” female “Foster-type” quick disconnects, as are required for use with multiple high-end PCP air rifles.
You can see more details in this promotional video.
As you would expect, this is a premium solution for shooters who value such things. The price is $269.99 for the Valve alone and $369.99 for the kit.
