MTC Optics has announced more details on their new MTC Cobra 4-16×50 F1 first focal plane scope.
The Cobra F1 is part of the comprehensive line-up of riflescopes being shown at the 2018 British Shooting Show, currently being held at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre.
MTC says that the MTC Cobra 4-16×50 F1 first focal plane scope offers an eye-catching combination of 4-16x magnification range with a 50mm diameter objective lens, 30mm tube and an attractive price tag.
The manufacturer claims that the superior optical configuration of the MTC Cobra 4-16×50 F1 first focal plane scope’s lenses will make the new model popular with shooters who favor the less complicated sight picture offered by FFP scopes. First focal plane scopes provide a constant relationship between target and crosshair size throughout the scope’s entire magnification range. This is a particularly advantageous feature for airgun hunters when allowing hold-over and hold-under.
The Cobra F1’s ‘tactical’ style turrets are lockable, offering 1/4MOA click-stop adjustments. It also features MTC’s multi-stadia SCB2 reticle (below) with six illumination intensity settings to handle a variety of lighting condition in the field or on the range.
Further features of the MTC Cobra 4-16×50 F1 first focal plane scope include sidewheel parallax adjustment down to 10 Metres, a fast-focus eye-piece, flip-up lens covers and five-year warranty.
