Recently, Hard Air Magazine made a comprehensive test review of the Air Arms FTP 900 air rifle. This beautiful airgun is dedicated to Field Target competition. And, of course, it’s a PCP.
There’s no doubt that this is a beautiful airgun! In fact we had so many photographs showing the detailed perfection of the gun that we did not have space to fit them all into the test review story.
So, here’s some further photographs of the Air Arms FTP 900 air rifle. Just look at the exquisite machining and finish on the metalwork!
And look at that beautiful laminated wood stock with so many adjustments!
If the adjustments still do not meet with the shooter’s requirements, extension rods are also available to increase the pull length and comb height.
Below we see the “hamster”, or stock depth extension. It’s adjustable, of course.
The overall effect is really beautiful! (Did we mention that before?)

Finally, we’ll go back for another look at two interesting accessories Pete Shooter has fitted to his gun. We have had several questions about these from interested readers.
First, there’s the dedicated scope riser from Rowan Engineering in the UK. This raises the scope height and also increases the loading area for those of us with “fat fingers”.
Finally, there’s the tiny German-manufactured Centra bipod. HAM tester Pete Shooter loves these and has them fitted to several of his air rifles.
They are, he says, light, practical and the legs fold forward for use in the field. It stays in place the whole time on his Air Arms FTP 900 air rifle.
