A trigger pull gauge is one of those very useful tools that sees occasional – but very important – use for most serious air rifle shooters. And the Lyman Digital Trigger Pull Gauge is the model used by Hard Air Magazine for all our airgun test reviews. We’ve found it to be convenient, consistent and accurate.

Now Lyman has announced the release of a new and improved version of their popular digital trigger pull gauge.

Lyman says that this new digital trigger pull gauge is designed to be the fastest and most accurate trigger pull gauge available.

The state-of-the-art strain gauge technology used in this product allows for accuracy of 1/10 ounce/2 grams, Lyman tells us. The user is also able to switch from ounces to grams with the push of a button.

The gauge will read to a maximum 12lb/5.4kg and features a large, easy-to-read LCD display. This digital trigger pull gauge can also give the user a pull weight average of the last 10 readings.

The new model Lyman Trigger Pull Gauge features a solid collapsible rod with 4 locking positions. This feature increases ease of use with a wide variety of airguns. It also prevents the rod from moving when applying pressure to the trigger, Lyman says. When not in use, the rod conveniently collapses into the device to decrease storage space.

There’s also a new ergonomic grip to increase comfort.

The trigger pull gauge now comes packaged in a new, padded hard case for convenient storage.

The company says that this new Lyman Digital Trigger Pull Gauge is the perfect tool for target shooters, silhouette shooters, hunters, and anyone who wants to adjust their trigger pull weight accurately and easily. It works with single 9V battery (not included).

But wait, there’s more! Lyman says that this improved product has a lower price of $59.95 MSRP.
