The Pacific Airgun Expo is intended to bring together all segments of the airgunning community. These include vendors, dealers, importers, manufacturers, customizers, repairers, collectors, accessory dealers. And, of course, new and experienced airgunners!

Promoted as the only airgun show west of the Rockies, the Pacific Airgun show is a biennial event. If you miss this one, you’ll need to wait another two years for the next Expo…

By attending the Pacific Airgun Expo, you will find assistance with repair, appraisal, accessories, or airgun purchases. Learn about airgun shooting and competition. We encourage people to bring in grandpa’s old pellet gun, get it fixed, see what it is worth, sell it, or trade it in on a new model.

The Pacific Airgun Expo gives you two days of buying, selling, trading, shooting, learning about or displaying airguns.

There’s also 25-, 50- and 100-yard ranges available for shooting airguns, just a few minutes away from the show location itself. It will be available from 1:00-5:00 Saturday for $2/person. Airguns of all types welcome. There will be a youth event going on; great opportunity to show the next generation the quiet side of the shooting sports!  The web site is http://www.edrgc.com.  The address is 5941 Union Mine Road, El Dorado for your GPS.  When I went there, there was a bit of a cell phone hole just before I got there, but just keep going, you’re almost there, and there’s a sign.

If you’re traveling and need accommodation, there are two overnight park and sleep options…

The fairgrounds has RV parking with hookups and bathrooms/showers for $35/night.

Second, the Red Hawk Casino allows overnight parking for free, but no hookups or facilities (except in the casino of course): exit 40 turn right on the access road with sign for “all deliveries”, down hill, park first drive on left.  To enter casino, walk into covered garage, first floor elevator, button C for the main floor.  If the walk is too far for your comfort, you can pass up the first driveway and drive around to the back of the casino and call security for a ride to the casino.  They have breakfast at 6 a.m. and several dinner options.  Just don’t give all your airgun spending money to the slot machines 🙂

The 2017 Pacific Airgun Expo is promoted by Michael McKeown. Michael started the group that became Northern California Airgun Shooters Association which sequed into Diable Field Target, changed California hunting law to allow airguns for all resident game birds and all small game. He also carves beautiful custom airgun stocks.

For more information about the Expo, contact Michael at info@pacificairgunexpo.com or phone him at (707) 337-9410.

Have a great time!
