The Omega Turbo Charger Compressor is a newly-launched, improved version of the same manufacturer’s Super Charger Compressor. They both produce High Pressure Air (HPA) at pressures of up to 4,500 PSI.
Hard Air Magazine has used a Super Charger for some time. We’ve been very impressed with the trouble-free operation and overall simplicity of this compressor.
You can see HAM’s review of the Super Charger here.
Building on the Super Charger Platform, the Omega Turbo Charger Compressor utilizes a dual piston system to reduce the fill time by HALF!
Many other features of the Turbo Charger are similar to those of the Super Charger.
The automatic shut off is easily set by the twin indicator arms in the extra large easy to read pressure gauge. When the desired pressure is reached the compressor shuts itself off automatically.
An auto bleed system is also programmable to any duration and interval that air quality and humidity may require. One additional addition we have made is to configure a Diablo Air Dry System along with the Super Charger to guarantee that we are producing DRY High Pressure Air.
With these user friendly features, it’s possible to link the Diablo Air Dry System along with the Super Charger to guarantee that we are producing DRY High Pressure Air.
This means that it’s perfectly practicable to attach an air cylinder to the Omega Turbo Charger Compressor, push the on button and go eat dinner or watch television.
The compressor will bleeds off moisture and shuts down automatically when filling is complete. Yes, it actually works!
The manufacturer claims that no other unit can match the Omega Turbo Charger Compressor for ease of use, protection of equipment from corrosive moisture and quiet operation.
An hour meter is also included to alert the user of the simple regular service intervals.
To differentiate it, the Omega Turbo Charger Compressor is encased in a red carbon fiber effect, metal case/ This protects the compressor from the elements as well as adds a touch of elegance to the appearance. The Super Charger has a gray case.
Speaking from experience, the HAM team can say that one of the biggest improvements incorporated into the Omega Turbo Charger Compressor is also one of the simplest!
The Turbo Charger incorporates two supports – one at either end – on top of the unit. Using these makes it is ideal to lay a large HPA tank on top of the unit. This makes things much more convenient when charging than laying the tank next to the compressor on the floor – which is what we do…
These tank rests double as carrying handles for portability – if you can lift 85 Lbs, that is! There’s also tool kit with spare parts and lubricants, a three foot long filling hose and a female quick disconnect.
The Omega Turbo Charger Compressor has a one year parts and labor warranty supplied by Raptor Pneumatics.
You can find the Omega Turbo Charger Compressor at Airguns of Arizona. The Super Charger and Diablo Dry Air System are also to be found from this link.
