Now there’s more Air Venturi Avenge-X stock upgrades! This is in addition to the other new upgrade parts – barrels, bottles and tubes – that HAM highlighted recently.
As we observed before, when the Air Venturi Avenge-X was introduced, the company promised that a range of upgrade parts would be available.
Although it might seem to be a simple thing to “just get some parts in stock”, in practice, this is not always so easy. There’s a lot of grinding, “behind the scenes” detail work involved. But Air Venturi really is delivering on the promise of the Avenge-X being a true modular air rifle that can be upgraded by its owner.
Let’s take a look at some of the recent upgrades that are becoming available…
Well, we’ve already shown the factory Tactical stock in our heading photo above. Also, additional Tactical forend rails are also available in both tube and bottle configurations. They come complete with the fixing screws, too, as you can see.
Another new introduction is that synthetic stocks are now available – again in bottle and tube versions. As with other Avenge-X parts and upgrades, the cost is really very moderate at just $79.99.
Wood Avenge-X stock upgrades have long been available, as we highlighted in this HAM story back in December 2023.
As a higher-end option, there’s also an Avenge-X chassis option from Saber Tactical.
This upgrade is constructed out of black anodized 6061 aluminum. It fits any Avenge-X rifle with a tube. This chassis enables any number of accessories to be attached, ranging from a bi-pod to the bottom Picatinny Rail to a tripod on the ARCA Swiss rail.
There are also MLOK slots throughout for even more flexibility in mounting accessories like a flashlight. The chassis includes a buffer tube adapter for use with the Avenge-X Tactical Buttstock if desired.
Now – given the large range of configurations and options available for the Avenge-X – you need to be careful to ensure that you have the correct upgrade for the job. However Pyramyd’s website gives clear indications of what fits what, plus any additional kits that may be required.
Also a lot of good information is to be found in this video. It’s primarily an instructional guide for installing the Saber Tactical Chassis. However there’s much useful background information that could help with Avenge-X stock upgrades of other types too.
