Recently launched at the 2025 SHOT Show, the new Skout Epoch Compact PCP air rifle is coming soon at Pyramyd. The weight of 8.6 Lbs and overall length of 28.5 Inches are significant reductions compared to the regular version.
The Epoch Compact sheds size and weight through the use of an extensively-milled upper chassis, a shorter 17-Inch hybrid bull barrel and a lighter optics rail. Plus that compact, 300 cc capacity High Pressure Air bottle saves length and weight, too.
Pyramyd lists power levels as being up to 52 Ft/Lbs in .22 caliber. In .25 cal it’s 64 Ft/Lb and 96 Ft/Lb is available in the .30 caliber version.
There’s a tool-free barrel change system. The 17-Inch barrel of the Compact has a twist rate of 1:15.75 for .22 caliber. It’s 1:24 for .25 and .30 caliber barrels.
The Skout Epoch Compact has a fully-adjustable, two-stage match trigger with a digital safety. The trigger can be adjusted for pre-travel, over-travel, trigger shoe angle and height, and more.
There’s an onboard computer which allows adjustments to the operation of the air rifle, including valve timing, firing timer, firing mode, and other settings.
Scope mounting is by means of a Picatinny optics rail. The stock includes a length-adjustable ridged rubber buttpad and a height-adjustable cheekpiece to help deliver a customized fit.
The air rifle includes three pressure gauges. These allow monitoring of the valve pressure, the pilot valve, and the air cylinder. Both the regulators are adjustable by the user. The fill pressure is 4,350 PSI (300 bar).
The SKOUT Epoch Compact PCP air rifle comes complete with a custom Plano hard case, a full set of Allen wrenches and a full reseal kit.
