These new 0dB Silencer and Barrel Tuner Kits have just been announced by the UK manufacturer. They are part of the Daystate/BRK Performance Center concept.
In fact, there’s three kits. One is the Stealth Silencer Pro Kit, second the Advantage Pro Kit. Third is a combination of both in the 0dB Pro System – Ultimate Kit.
0dB Stealth Silencer Pro Kit
The 0dB Stealth Silencer Pro is a dedicated air rifle silencer. It is supplied with three, caliber-specific baffles, each marked accordingly: .177/.22, .25 and .30 calibers. Its female thread fits ½ Inch UNF threaded muzzles.
The Stealth Silencer Pro is lightweight aluminum, hard-anodized and satin bronze finished. It measures 3.35-Inches long, weighs just 3.3 Oz with an external diameter of 1.6 Inches.
The internal baffles are acoustically designed and manufactured from composite, using high-tech 3D Additive Printing technology. To change or clean a baffle, simply unscrew the silencer end cap with the supplied tool.
The silencer strips down, so it is easy to clean. Access to the acoustic foam, baffle and gauze is via its removable end cap. This unscrews with the End Cap Removal Tool. Every Stealth Silencer Pro Kit comes with one, but the tool can also be purchased separately, if required.
The Stealth Silencer Pro is only available as part of a kit. The kit comes in a foam-filled, hard polypropylene case. It also includes a screw-on Extension Module. You can also fit more Modules, however these must be purchased separately.
0dB Advantage Pro Kit
The manufacturer says that the 0dB Pro System Advantage Tuner Kit is the result of many years research and development. This effectively lets the shooter fine-tune his or her set-up to optimize accuracy for the caliber/power of the air rifle and the ambient conditions.
The Advantage Target Pro Tuner is available on its own, or as part of a kit. All the Advantage Target Pro kits also include the Pro System Extension Module which additionally adds sound suppression to the front of the Tuner unit.
Note that the ATP is NOT caliber-specific. However, the Extension Module, if used, is. The Tuner is aluminum, bronze-anodized and 1.57 Inches in diameter. It measures 3.34 Inches long and weighs 5.4 Oz. It has a female thread to screw on to a ½ Inch UNF threaded muzzle.
You tune the barrel by simply rotating the internal weight inside the housing by hand. A large aperture makes it easy to rotate, and there is a clear arrow to provide a visual reference of the current setting.
Note: When purchased separately (ie not part of a kit), the ATP comes with an end cap ready-fitted. However, individual units do NOT come with the End Cap Removal Tool, so you will need to purchase this separately if you decide to fit an Extension Module at a later date.
0dB Pro System – Ultimate Kit
This kit comprises the following items. It’s a combination of the two other kits.
- x1 Poly hardshell case
- x1 Advantage Pro Tuner (with end cap), 1/2 Inch UNF female
- x1 Stealth Silencer (with end cap), 1/2 Inch UNF female
- x1 Extension Module (mini moderator)
