Yes, it’s true, I may be dim. (Ask my wife!) But somehow I never quite understood the Peazy HPA Fill System from EDgun West.
But then my friend Doug Rogers bought one for himself and explained it to me. Actually, the Peazy is clever, easy and a very useful product…
The first thing that surprised me was how small it is. It’s smaller than a tin of pellets!
The purpose of this devise is to provide a small, convenient source of High Pressure Air that can be carried in a range bag – or similar – in the field. It’s much smaller and lighter than a conventional HPA tank, but still can provide enough air for one additional fill.
Doug has bought his for use as an easy, convenient top-up supply in Field Target matches where his HW100 runs close to the limit of its air supply.
In use, the Peazy HPA Fill System screws-on to a standard carbon fiber HPA air bottle with M18 thread. Like the ones that are sold with many PCP air rifles.
Doug had such a spare bottle already. But if required, EDgun West can supply a 350 cc or 580 cc bottle with the Peazy.
The Peazy is supplied with a fill probe that fits EDgun, Weihrauch and some other PCPs. But this can be removed if required and a standard 1/8-Inch NPT quick disconnect (Foster fitting) attached if required. That would be an extra cost item.
On the underside of the Peazy is a small pressure gauge to indicate the HPA pressure inside the bottle.
In addition, there’s a port in the side of the Peazy. This allows the bottle to be filled using the fill probe that’s included with the fill system.
Now you can fill that HPA bottle from a larger tank – or possibly a small compressor.
When you need to top-up your gun later, insert the fill probe then press the Peazy’s top-mounted trigger. Filling is simple and quick.
There’s a locking collar that can be rotated to prevent inadvertent, accidental air discharge. In a range bag, for example.
Doug is delighted with his purchase. The Peazy HPA Fill System is exactly what he was looking-for!
