Hard Air Magazine has a world exclusive scoop of a new Evanix semi-auto air rifle!
These CAD files show a sophisticated PCP with an integrated shroud, upper and lower Weaver/Picatinny rails. There’s a magazine-fed action in the rear of the bullpup stock. We’d say that the turquoise rectangle in the CAD files represents the magazine,. The red dots probably define the cocking lever and magazine release.
We don’t know the name yet, but our source suggests that the new bullpup will be available from the Korean manufacturer in December 2016. Our best guess is that this gun will first break cover in the US at the SHOT Show in January 2017.
This new Evanix semi-auto air rifle is not yet featured on the Evanix website. However, we’re told that it will use an air blowback semi-auto cocking system.
The weight is said to be around 6.5 Lbs, which would be light for such a substantial-looking gun.
Calibers are to be .177 cal, .22 cal, .25 cal and a big bore .302 cal. The gun will also feature an adjustable power system. Coming from Evanix, we wouldn’t be surprised if there was some electronic control in there somewhere.
