AirForce Airguns was showing a number of new products at the 2024 SHOT Show. Among them was the RAW TM 100 FT Pistol. That’s a new model that I had not seen before.
Like other RAW models at the show, the TM1000 FT Pistol carries the name “Theoben” on the breech, acknowledging the design heritage linkinking back to the classic British airguns of the 1980s.
Note also that the breech is the same as the TM1000 target rifle.
Interestingly, the RAW TM 100 FT Pistol is to be available in .20 caliber, in addition to the expected .177 and .22 calibers.
It’s a single-shot pistol with a fill pressure of 3,000 PSI. Overall length is 22 Inches and the barrel is 15 Inches long. The weight is 5.5 Lbs.
Thanks to Steve Loretto for showing me the RAW TM 100 FT Pistol and other new guns at AirForce!
Next was the RAW HM 1000X fitted with a Masterpiece Arms Matrix Air Pro chassis. Clearly aimed at benchrest competitors, this chassis offers a long, wide forearm for more stability shooting from bags.
Of course the increased weight and flex prevention provided by the chassis are of significant benefit to the long range target shooter also.
The pistol grip system offers over 112 configurations of grips, thumb shelves and trigger finger supports, AirForce says.
There’s also multiple mounting locations to attach data card holders and other competitive accessories, as we can see in the close-up below.
Also being shown was the Rapid Air Worx RAW MicroHunter. Although first announced at the 2023 SHOT Show, this is still a relatively new model for many shooters.
Another AirForce product shown as new for 2024 was the TalonBolt Carbine. This is a light, compact arrow-shooter that fires shorter-than-usual 13-Inch bolts. The fill pressure for the 213cc HPA bottle is 2,000 PSI.
It’s similar to the TalonBolt Rifle, but lighter and shorter.
There’s more information on the Air Force website.
