The 2022 FLFT Grand Prix is now open for registration. The second annual event is taking place on July 16th and 17th 2022 in the beautiful surroundings of up-state New York’s Finger Lakes.
Note that this is about a month earlier than last year’s event, which took place in August.
The FLFT is a two-day event with both rifle and pistol competitions being held over the weekend. Full details and registration can be found at the FLFT web page.
The shoot is AAFTA-sanctioned and abides by all AAFTA rules.
Not wanting to mess with success, the 2022 FLFTC will be held at the same range as the first year’s event in 2021. This is the Rochester Brooks Gun Club, 962 Honeoye Falls #6 Road, Rush, NY 14543.
The location is on the edge of the beautiful upstate New York Finger Lakes area, not far from Rochester NY. It’s easily accessible from the I-90 Thruway. (Hence FLFT stands for Finger Lakes Field Target)
With both a testing woods course and a wild, windy open field course, this range offers a wide variety of Field Target shooting experiences. This is a course that can challenge even the best!
Here’s the schedule…
- Saturday, July 16th 2022
- 7:30am – Facility opens and sight in range opens. Rifle and Pistol Course open to walk
- 8:30am – Registration opens
- 9:45am – Shooters’ Meeting
- 10:00am – Grand Prix Rifle Match (day 1)
- 1:30pm – Lunch, in between rifle and pistol (not included in fees).
- 3:00pm – Pistol Match Shooters’ Meeting
- 3:10pm – Field Target Pistol Championship followed by shootoffs
- 5:30pm – sight in range closes
- 6:00pm – facility closes
- Sunday, July 17th, 2022
- 7:30am – facility opens and sight in range open
- 8:45am – shooters’ meeting
- 9:00am – Grand Prix Rifle Match (day 2)
- Lunch – (not included in fees).
- Shootoffs
- Award Presentation/Closing Ceremony
- Cleanup Begins (RBGC/ FLFT Only)
