Airguns Of Arizona has announced that Pre-Registration is now open for 2020 EBR. Amazingly, this is the 10th year of the world-famous Extreme Benchrest competition!

2020 EBR Pre-Registration Now Open

AoA always puts a TON of effort into making EBR the world-leading airgun shooting event it has become. That’s why it always operates in such a professional, well-managed basis. It’s also one of the reasons everyone has such a good time…

This year, of course, adds an entirely new and difficult twist for the organizers. AoA explains that they have been forced to consider many additional factors to ensure a safe and manageable shooting event under an ever-changing COVID-19 environment.

The hope is to organize and run the 10th Annual Extreme Benchrest competition on October 8-11, 2020. The AoA Team is also working to ensure the same level of fierce competition and fun times for all.

However, AoA stresses, given the evolving restrictions and safety procedures needed, they cannot be 100% certain that EBR 2020 will even be possible when October comes around.

So, the company is tentatively opening registration. The hope is that the coming months will bring opportunity for safe travel, and attendance at this year’s Extreme Benchrest.

Registration will begin with a series of phases. These will be dictated largely by the Center for Disease Control and the rules set forth by the hosting facility, Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club.

In coming weeks, AoA will announce any changes to the plan as needed. For now, the company invites those interested in participating to pre-register under the following conditions:

EBR 2020 is planned to consist of the same great events they offer each year (plus one more)! Understandably, it may be required to modify, adapt, or drop events as needed to stay within the guidelines required for health and safety.

If the event is allowed to run, Registration fees will be $300, which includes entry to all available events (shooter capacity allowing, on a first-registered, first-served basis).

Initially, AoA is requiring a $25 non-refundable, Pre-Registration deposit. This fee will guarantee your sign-up position, and will go towards the full registration fees nearer to the event.

That pre-registration deposit includes an exclusive “goody bag” of EBR 2020 and sponsor merchandise for US-based competitors. It’s valued well over the $25 Pre-Registration fee. This will be sent-out prior to the event, so really you can’t loose financially on this one…

Pre-Registration will also include a single entry into the EBR Lockdown Challenge. This is an early competition you can enter from your home or local shooting range. Details for the EBR Lockdown Challenge will be announced in the near future when packages are ready to send out.

Also included with Pre-Registration will be an entry in the EBR Lockdown Raffle. Prizes for this will be revealed closer to the event. This drawing will happen at the EBR 2020 awards assembly, or – in the event of the competition being forced to cancel – will be drawn online and shipped to the winner.

AoA hopes that the current situation improves and the event will be able to open up fully. The company hopes to bring together airgunners and competitors for some much needed fun and challenging airgun competition.

Being that this year marks EBR’s 10th Anniversary, the AoA Team wish to continue improving and adding to what has long been the best airgun competition in the world!

However the company stresses that they absolutely value the health and safety of every shooter above their desire to put on another great shooting event. They will, of course, monitor the changing guidelines to work within the safest means possible.

You can Pre-Register at www.extremebenchrest.com. Any and all changes to the plan will be communicated there too, whenever possible.
