Air Venturi is adding a new M1A air rifle to its full line up of Springfield Armory rifle and pistol replicas. But it’s not a PCP or CO2-powered airgun as you might have expected. It’s actually an underlever spring-piston model with sliding top handguard for pellet-loading!

The Springfield Armory M1A air rifle features an unique sliding breech system that provides ample room for loading pellets.  It’s available in .177 caliber – and maybe also .22 cal – according to the Air Venturi website.

This underlever has an extendable cocking arm to provide more leverage for those who need it.  It also cocks by pushing the underlever FORWARDS, rather pulling to the rear as is usual. Close inspection of the photograph below shows brass bushings where an M1A scope mount could fit…

This one we’re really looking forward to seeing!

For 2020, Air Venturi will add a little “bang” to airgunner backyards this summer with its new blue-tooth enabled, interactive target system, Bada Bang.  After downloading the FREE Bada Bang app to their Apple or Android device, shooters can test their reflexes, draw time or compete against themselves with the pre-loaded games available on the app.

For those looking to test their skills against others, the Bada Bang has a multiplayer mode where anyone, located anywhere in the world, can challenge other shooters for some friendly backyard scrimmages.

And there’s also a new PCP air rifle from Air Venturi – a new player in the world of entry-level PCP airguns that combine performance and affordability – the Air Venturi Avenger air rifle.

Available in .177, .22 and .25 calibers, the Avenger weighs only 6 Lbs without a scope.  It features an externally adjustable regulator and externally adjustable hammer spring. This provides the Avenger owner with a level of performance and adjustability never seen before at this price point, says the company.  Availability is scheduled for May 2020.

“We are beyond excited to be launching such a wide array of interesting airgun products to kick off 2020,” said Val Gamerman, President of Air Venturi. “The M1A expands upon our already great line up of replicas, and is sure to be a hit with collectors.  The Air Venturi Avenger gives airgunners another opportunity to dive into the world of pre-charged pneumatics, without the typically costly PCP price tag.”

Gamerman adds, “I’m most excited that the Bada Bang interactive target system – a project a few years in the making – is finally hitting the market this year.  This nifty little target and accompanying app can bring airgunners from all over the world together for a little trigger time – something we all love to do.”
