Hot industry news is that there is to be a new FX Airguns UK distributor. It’s Sportsman Gun Centre Limited: it will become the sole official UK importer and distributor for FX Airguns in February 2020.
Sportsman Gun Centre claims to be the UK’s largest gun shop, mail order and internet company, supplying to both trade and retail markets.
Founded in 1971, Sportsman Gun Centre now encompasses three of the largest retail outlets in Europe. These stores cover the Southwest of England and South Wales (at Exeter in Devon, Wardon Hill in Dorset and Newport,Gwent).
Sportsman Gun Centre says it has has always committed to holding a significant amount of stock for the brands they distribute. They are looking to continue to increase the availability of the FX range in the UK.
In the UK, demand for FX products has historically outstripped supply. So Sportsmans Gun Centre plans to offer greatly reduced lead times for FX airguns, with improved stock availability to both retail and trade clients.
Both Sportsman Gun Centre and FX believe that this partnership will have a profound effect on the UK airgun industry, bringing FX airguns to a much wider audience.
