The Air Venturi Nomad II portable compressor is a new version of the original Nomad. It has a number of improvements over the original Nomad. The main obvious change is that the AC power supply is now built-in to the compressor housing, instead of being a separate item.

Once you open the carton, you’ll find a very comprehensively- specified product.
The Air Venturi Nomad II portable compressor is supplied in a practical and useful black carrying case. There’s provision to attach a shoulder strap using a standard connector also – if you have one. That would make carrying easier, although the Nomad II is not exactly heavy.
There’s also an AC power cord, jumper cables, the output hose and a variety of small parts and accessories. Here’s the basic unit, straight out of its case…
As you can see, the Air Venturi Nomad II portable compressor carried a QA check certificate from the factory. That – together with the 12-month Air Venturi warranty and support – should give confidence to purchasers.
There’s a well-illustrated user instruction manual to accompany the product. A quick glance shows that this covers many of the questions a new user would have when setting-up and using a Air Venturi Nomad II portable compressor for the first time.
Also included is a bag of small “goodies”. These include feet (the four black disks), a male Q/D fitting and a “dead head” test plug. There’s also a fuse, some spare burst disks, replacement check vales and springs, together with some O rings.
Not included in the photograph above is an oil applicator bottle and a pack of air filters. That’s a pretty full compliment of accessories!
The Air Venturi Nomad II portable compressor is one of a steady flow of new personal compressors entering the market now. The HAM Team is very excited about this development!
Making it easy to generate your own High Pressure Air at a reasonable price and without physical pumping removes the main barrier to widespread PCP adoption. That has to be good news for airgunners and the airgun industry.
