Gamo has announced that it’s launching the new Mach 1 Pigman Edition air rifle. And it’s loaded with features!
This new air rifle features the latest in Gamo technology – the IGT Mach 1 power plant. The Mach 1 replaces the standard compression spring with an Inert Gas Cylinder. Gamo claims the IGT Mach 1’s large 33 milimeter cylinder delivers more muzzle velocity – up to 1420 fps in .177 caliber with PBA Platinum Ammo. Gamo also claims it produces smooth and consistent cocking efforts with constant power delivered to any pellet you fire through this gun.
The Gamo Mach 1 Pigman Edition Air Rifle also features Gamo’s new RRR (Recoil Reducing Rail) technology. Gamo says this was developed to subdue the taxing stresses placed on your scope by the intense recoil of air guns and high-powered rifles by using (patent pending), two-piece aluminum construction separated by dual polymer struts to absorb shockwaves. Gamo claims that this reduces the recoil stresses to internal components of the scope by almost 100%.
The new Mach 1 Pigman Edition will be available in .177 cal and .22 cal versions and is supplied with a 3-9×40 rifle scope.
The Gamo Mach 1 Pigman Edition shoots up to 1420 fps in .177 with PBA Platinum pellets and 1020 fps in .22 with the same ammunition. The Mach 1 Pigman Edition features Gamo’s Whisper Fusion technology, including the latest noise dampening technology that has been integrated into the steel barrel. Compared to standard air rifles, Gamo says that noise is reduced by up to 89.5%.
There’s also Gamo’s new recoil pad SWA (Shock Wave Absorber) – that is claimed to reduce recoil by up to 74%. Phew!
