And if the Aspen looks rather familiar to some of you – it is! In fact, the Seneca Aspen Multi-Pump PCP air rifle is another version of the air rifle that HAM has covered since its first appearance in prototype form at the IWA Show in 2017 as the Nova Vista HP-M1000.
It’s a HAM Gold Award winner when called the American Tactical Nova Freedom!
HAM understands that the main difference in the Seneca Aspen Multi-Pump PCP air rifle from other versions is that it is bundled with a 4 x 32AO scope. This replaces the iron sights which are fitted to the American Tactical Nova Freedom version of this innovative air rifle.
In summary, the Seneca Aspen is available in .177 and .22 calibers. It’s a very versatile, 10-shot PCP air rifle which can be filled from an HPA tank or hand pump. But the main value for many airgunners is that the Seneca Aspen Multi-Pump PCP air rifle can also be filled with High Pressure Air using its own, built-in air pump.
This capability gives the Seneca Aspen Multi-Pump PCP air rifle the unusual benefit of being completely independent from the “air anxiety” that can often be felt by PCP users. You know, that “Oh no. Do I have enough air?” feeling!
With the Seneca Aspen Multi-Pump PCP air rifle, you can fill up from a tank at home and then easily top-up pressure in the field with a (relatively) few strokes of the built-in hand pump. Or, of course, you can fill the gun completely using this built-in pump.
Not only that, but the Seneca Aspen Multi-Pump PCP air rifle is also very tunable. Using a combination of the variable power selector – actually it’s a transfer port adjuster – on the side of the gun, together with the hammer spring adjuster, can give either more power or a much longer, flatter shot curve than the factory setting.
